"Silence is a virtue."
I am of the moment somewhat reticent of speech
For at best words fail to bear the weight
of my gratitude to you,
and at worst my current state of mind
is too much of sharp edges and dull wit...
not the type of thing one wishes to spread around

Know this quiet for expression of my regard
and hold my thanks to be lessened none
through delay in reply
